Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International company, is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer I in Richland, WA to support the 222-S Laboratory operations for the Department of Energy. The role focuses on quality assurance activities, safety compliance, and documentation control within a nuclear facility environment.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in engineering or related field, 7 years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field and 7 years related experience.
• Must possess strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001, NQA-1, or similar quality systems.
• Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
• Lead auditor experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide quality assurance/control engineering services in support of Navarro-ATL activities at the 222-S Laboratory.
• Review drawings, procedures, and quality reports; identify and report quality problems or trends.
• Perform quality control inspections and maintain quality program documentation.
• Provide QA guidance to engineers, technicians, and inspectors.
• Oversee supplier/vendor qualification and procurement quality requirements.
• Lead program audits and surveillance, including supplier or subcontractor audits.
