Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Lead Nuclear Project Quality Manager to ensure independent QA compliance with NQA 1, ISO 17025, and applicable standards across projects. You will drive QA programs, report to the Nuclear Program QA Manager, and coordinate with project teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions in dynamic environments.

Ideal candidates possess 5+ years in nuclear or highly regulated settings, OHSA 10, strong math and analytical skills, and proficient use of Excel, Word, Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• OHSA 10 certification required during onboarding.
• 5+ years in nuclear or highly regulated environments; 10 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote Atlas Core Values and support Behavior Based Safety while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Implement project quality program per ASME NQA 1 and ISO 17025.
• Independently report project quality activities and compliance to the Nuclear Program Quality Assurance Manager.
• Verify compliance with project quality plans, procedures, and specifications.
• Plan, perform and document independent field QA surveillance testing and inspections per standards.
• Coordinate QA activities with the Project Manager and Concrete Quality Technical Manager.
• Control documents and verify nonconforming work including NCR/PAR.
• Develop, implement, maintain and oversee project QA plans, procedures, audits, surveillances and assessments.
• Manage QA documentation and retention per NQA 1 requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors and ensure procurement QA requirements.
• Ensure personnel training and qualification records per NQA 1.
• Interface with project management, engineering, and clients to provide QA reports and support.
