Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager for Construction Material Testing, to lead field teams and drive projects from staffing through delivery to ensure safety and compliance with QA standards.

The role will transition to a nuclear project in Kemmerer, WY in early 2027 for a 2-3 year assignment with per diem options; strong leadership and DOE/commercial nuclear experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • 10 years construction management with DOE or Commercial Nuclear Industry.
  • Direct experience implementing NQA-1 requirements.
  • 5 years directly supervising personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support field staff with daily direction and performance oversight.
  • Manage project execution including scope, staffing, client coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Review and approve testing reports to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Oversee proposals, billing, and project financial tracking.
  • Partner with clients to understand needs, provide updates, and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Champion safety by ensuring PPE adherence and active participation in Atlas safety programs.

Job Description

You'll guide and develop field teams while steering projects from staffing through delivery, serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, safeguard quality by ensuring testing meets project specifications, keep projects financially healthy from proposal to billing, and set the tone for a strong safety culture across every jobsite. The successful hire will transition their work to a nuclear project in Kemmerer, WY in early 2027 for 2-3 years assignment (per diem available during this period).
