Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a journey-level Nuclear Procurement Specialist to support the Nuclear Services Contracts organization at Diablo Canyon. The role develops, awards, administers, and manages service contracts for plant operations, maintenance, projects, and outages.

In a hybrid setting, you’ll apply procurement practices, ensure compliance, and collaborate with business partners to deliver practical contracting solutions that support safe, reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in supply chain if PG&E or 4 years’ experience in the same field from another company.
• AA degree in Business or equivalent, or professional certifications as listed.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance requirements (SOX) and contract controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, award, administer, and manage service contracts for nuclear plant operations, maintenance, projects and outages.
• Prepare and evaluate competitive solicitations; negotiate commercial terms; establish contracts.
• Manage contract changes and master data in SAP; support supplier performance and cost management.
• Collaborate with partners across Legal, Finance, Risk, Safety and cross-functional teams.
