Job summary

A leading engineering firm in California is seeking a Mid-Level Power Uprate Analysis Engineer to contribute to the evaluation and implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities. This role provides a comprehensive understanding of plant systems and offers mentorship and growth opportunities among experienced engineers. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing nuclear power design engineering.
• PE license or progress toward licensure is preferred.
• Experience in evaluating large-scale power generation systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed engineering studies to assess available design margins across systems.
• Evaluate impacts of increased power levels on components and structures.
• Prepare technical reports and design change packages.
