The role involves calculations, specifications, and technical reports, plus equipment sizing, optimization, and selection to meet project needs. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with strong academic background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, power engineering, turbomachinery, and energy conversion.
• Knowledge of applying mechanical engineering principles to project design and ability to produce technical plans and drawings.
• Experience with numerical computations and problem solving; proficient in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, specifications, and technical reports to support client recommendations and reviews.
• Conduct equipment sizing, optimization evaluation, and selection to meet project needs.
• Support project teams in system engineering, including design, modification, and analysis of power plant mechanical systems.
• Travel to client/vendor offices for design reviews and field verification as needed.
