Job summary

ANSER is seeking an International Programs Analyst to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Matters. This role focuses on international engagements related to the safety, security, and survivability of U.S.

nuclear capabilities, including NATO-related activities and mutual defense agreements. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, advanced writing skills, and experience with international cooperation and interagency processes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, national security studies, or related field.
• 6+ years of SES-level support and international negotiation/diplomatic experience; Master’s +3 years equals 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Support read-ahead materials, briefing products, and talking points for senior officials.
• Organize meetings and analyze data related to NATO HLG processes.
• Develop materials and analyze information related to NATO nuclear consultations and command/control systems.
• Engage with NATO Allies including basing nations on related work streams.
• Staff executive leadership roles under MDAs and support negotiations of international agreements.
• Draft updates to policy guidance for incidents involving nuclear weapons and materials.
• Contribute to annual reports and prep staff products and trip books.
