Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified analyst to provide analytical and administrative support to the USAF, focusing on adapting nuclear deterrence strategies amid evolving threats. You will manage forums, document decisions, and support governance initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, proficiency in Power BI and Tableau, and experience in international security. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with foreign policy issues, geopolitical trends, or international security developments.
• Experience monitoring global events
• Ability to synthesize complex political, economic, and security information into clear analytical outputs
• Ability to complete export control or sanction compliance training
• Power BI proficiency
• Tableau proficiency
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, Security Studies, or Public International Relations or Foreign Policy certification
• Security Studies or Strategic Studies certification
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Experience supporting the USAF, STRATCOM, NC3, or nuclear C2
• Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and international non-proliferation frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking, and open-source research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders
• Completion of Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Training
• Completion of Nuclear Security Fundamentals Courses
• Radiological Emergency Management Certifications
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to the USAF
• Facilitate adaptation of Air Force nuclear deterrence strategies and programs in response to evolving global and national security threats
• Provide logistical and administrative support during forum execution
• Capture a comprehensive record of discussions and strategic decisions
• Support the strategic deterrence and nuclear integration initiative
• Provide expert support during heightened operations
• Address urgent requirements related to nuclear enterprise governance, policy revisions, strategic assessments, and unforeseen mission demands
• Apply technical proficiency, data analysis skills, and regulatory expertise to nuclear facilities, programs, and policies
