Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking qualified candidates to join our PVNGS team. The role involves completing qualification to operate mechanical and electrical equipment outside the Control Room within the assigned time frame, and performing duties under the Nuclear Requirement and Emergency Response guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass EEI POSS testing.

Responsibilities

• Complete qualification to operate equipment within assigned time frame.
• Operates major and auxiliary plant equipment outside Control Room in areas for which qualification is completed.
• Monitors, reads and records instruments and equipment outside Control Room.
• Notifies Control Room Operator of any problems.
• Communicates with the Control Room regarding plant status and conditions on an ongoing basis.
• Implements station safety tagging and clearance procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
