Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services in Jupiter, FL, seeks a Nuclear Planner Scheduler for a 1-year, W-2 contract role. You will plan activities for plant equipment, craft precise, compliant work instructions, and coordinate with multiple departments to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires leadership in planning, mentorship of junior schedulers, and ability to interpret Engineering Change requirements.

Qualifications

• Nuclear site knowledge and ability to support all nuclear sites.
• Willing to take lead planner responsibilities and mentor juniors.
• Ability to interpret Engineering Change requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and other departments on work instructions.
• Experience with planning and scheduling in nuclear plants.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize project activities for plant equipment and systems.
• Create clear and concise work instructions sequenced logically and efficiently.
• Ensure work instructions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and interpret Engineering Change implementation requirements.
• Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective issues, modification, and surveillance activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and support departments on work instruction requirements.
• Support testing of updates to new and existing planning and scheduling applications.
