Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related subject and 5–8 years of Field Engineering experience.
• US work authorization; ability to obtain Department of Energy badge.
• Experience with piping and pipe support installation, inspection, and pressure testing.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues for mechanical systems.
• Develop work plans, coordinate materials, perform inspections, and report progress on installation and testing of piping/mechanical equipment.
• Provide leadership in a team-based field environment and supervise assigned field engineers.
• Review requisitions for field purchases and support field procurement in inspection and receipt of materials.
• Review construction drawings, schedules, and vendor manuals to ensure alignment with site activities.
• Assist field engineers and superintendents in interpreting design and vendor drawings; monitor deliveries and installation.
