Cardinal Health is seeking a Technician I, Nuclear Pharmacy to assist pharmacists and technicians in a regulated nuclear pharmacy setting. You will learn facility and equipment prep, perform quality checks, and support dispensing and order fulfillment under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, with weekend and holiday rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience preferred.
• Registration with State Board of Pharmacy, licensure as Pharmacy Technician or PTCB preferred.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Past IV experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, train to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals per regulations.
• Prepares prescriptions by typing labels and obtaining Staff Pharmacist approval.
• Draws doses into syringe or vial.
• Performs quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Receives, documents, and stores incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals.
