Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Illinois State Board of Pharmacy registration or PTCB preferred.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to manage up to 75 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prescriptions and obtain Staff Pharmacist approval.
• Draws doses into syringes or vials.
• Performs QA tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Receives, documents, and stores pharmaceuticals per guidelines.
• Maintains computer inventory and records for Rx drugs.
• Assists with labeling blood cell products.
• Performs general lab and facility clean up.
• May perform clerical and billing tasks.
• Delivers to accounts using company vehicles.
• Responds to customer questions by phone.
• Works under close supervision; deviations require approval.
• Other duties as assigned.
