Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking licensed pharmacists to build a career in PET radiopharmaceuticals and become experts in a fast-growing imaging field.

The role offers paid training, nationwide relocation assistance, and hands-on instruction in PET radiopharmaceutical production with full support toward AU status.

Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy License; ability to obtain AU certification within a timeframe.
  • Authorized User Certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Pharmacy degree requirements completed; PharmD preferred.
  • Strong communication and precise procedural adherence are essential.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-reliability setting.

Responsibilities

  • Produce radionuclides and prepare, test, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, Radiation Safety, and pharmacy laws and policies.
  • Oversee actions of personnel in the permitted pharmacy area (PIC in absence).
  • Perform aseptic techniques and sterility/pyrogen testing per SOPs.
  • Execute QC procedures using analytical equipment and tests.
  • Maintain documentation and records; handle shipment of radioactive materials.

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal if you have interest in:

Job Duties Include
  • Responsible for the production of radionuclides and the preparation, testing, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory commitments including the cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities.
  • Responsible and accountable under State Pharmacy Law, for all actions of personnel working in the permitted pharmacy area, in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager (PIC).
  • Delivers and ensures performance of aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures performance of QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains all applicable documents and records.
  • Prepares shipment of radioactive materials according to procedure and licensing authorities' requirements.
  • Provides support in operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software.
Required
  • Active Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
  • Authorized User Certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed, complex procedures
  • Comfort working independently in a high-reliability environment
  • Basic computer skills (Windows)
  • Ability to pass color vision and corrected 20/20 vision testing
  • Ability to lift 100 lb packages (with proper technique/support)
  • This role is a permanent night-shift role and requires consistent availability during very early morning/night hours. Flexibility to work alternate early morning/night shift schedules may be needed based on operational requirements.

Supervisory: May lead multiple nonexempt team members.

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is

$139,890 - $192,346

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
