Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers and technicians to test and analyze the performance of new fuel designs.
• Apply engineering principles and engineering codes & standards, such as ASME and ANSI, to the design and evaluation of systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Help resolve technical issues for operating and new (i.e., AP1000) nuclear power plants.
• Support engineers in the development of calculations and reports to document design and analysis results.
• Learn new engineering topics through participation in technical seminars.
• Work with engineers within and outside of the United States.
