Job summary

NATO is seeking a Capability Planning Manager for the Nuclear Consultation, Command and Control modernization Programme. This role will support the NC3 Capability Planning Section Head in aligning and overseeing CPP development and in defining scope, timeline, and risks across the programme lifecycle.

The incumbent will drive analytical studies, contribute to NC3 capability architecture, and facilitate workshops with Nations and end users to ensure alignment with NATO strategies and directives.

Qualifications

• University degree in a management or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in defence capability development and complex system acquisition for large organisations.
• Experience in programme development including requirements, planning and budgeting.
• Experience leading teams in military/government contexts.

Responsibilities

• Support NC3 Capability Planning Section Head in CPP development oversight.
• Define program scope, timeline, risks and cost across the lifecycle.
• Support analytical studies to influence NC3 capability development.
• Develop NC3 capability architecture with NATO strategies and directives.
• Organise workshops with Nations and end users to align on NC3 vision.
