  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

This role requires expertise in operating specialized equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards, all while prioritizing effective patient communication and safety. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.Position Details: Required Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and required clinical hours have been completed. Experience: no experience required Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT (N) OR Registry eligible (achieve registry within 2 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Knowledge in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images. • Skilled in effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support. • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
