Job summary

Glens Falls Hospital in New York is seeking a NYS licensed or registry-eligible Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET procedures alongside board-certified radiologists, with a stable daytime schedule and no routine call rotation.

We offer on-site training, licensure reimbursement for out-of-state transfers, and access to advanced equipment including GE 850 SPECT/CT, GE 640 SPECT/CT, GE Omni PET/CT.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
• 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License or eligibility to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures alongside board-certified radiologists and cardiologists.
• Manage hot lab workflows, including strict quality control, daily calibrations, and safe radiopharmaceutical handling/disposal.
• Maintain precise documentation within RIS, PACS, and Dose Management systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve patient comfort and imaging efficiency.

$37.07 to $55.61 per hour(Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Education/Accredited Programs

Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program

1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations

Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License, or eligible to apply for NYS licensure (out-of-state candidates must apply to the NYS Department of Health).

CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification required.

CPR Certification required (can be obtained at hire).
