Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville Beach, FL, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Nuclear Medicine Department. This full-time days position offers 40 hours per week with a sign-on bonus potential up to $10,000.

The technologist will prepare patients for scans, administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and report findings with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiopharmaceuticals handling preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida radiation protection regulations preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic procedures.
• Knowledge of and adherence to Florida Radiation Control regulations.
• Protects patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Ensures compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
