Job description

Position Highlights:

  • Position:Nuclear Med Tech
  • Job Type:Full-Time
  • Location:Community Hospital/Imaging
  • Open until July 30, 2025 or until filled

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure all equipment necessary is on and operational prior to performing patient procedures.
  • Responsible for cleaning and stocking rooms after every exam.
  • Responsible for taking call as required and performing all Technologists duties of assigned position according to the needs of the department to provide coverage for Radiology.
    • Responsible for adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate add-on, ER and STAT exams.
    • Responsible for understanding of pertinent anatomy and pathology and best practices on adjusting imaging parameters as needed.
    • Starting IV’s using proper aseptic techniques.
  • Verify all exams performed being moved to taken in Meditech and all images being accessible on the PACs system.

Requirements:

  • Requires ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • Minimum of one year’s Radiology and Nuclear Medicine experience, one years’ experience with PET imaging preferred
  • Current ACLA/BLS

Compensation:

  • $41.00 - $47.15 per hour, depending on education and experience.
  • Bonus: Up to $10,000 (paid out over 3 years)
  • Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

  • Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
