Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. You will use a variety of equipment and follow prescribed procedures, under physician direction.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a Florida Radiologic Technologist license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare stock solutions, calculate doses, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction.
• Perform diagnostic studies using cameras to image organs.
• Measure radioactivity with a dose calibrator.
• Follow radiation safety techniques and dispose of radioactive materials.
• Participate in QC, safety, and infection control studies.
• May vary shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Cross-train in other areas where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
