Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation intravenously for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role includes coordinating patient flow, ensuring procedure quality, and documenting all relevant information in accordance with department procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma/certificate in Nuclear Medicine, with a State Nuclear Medicine License and venipuncture certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or an equivalent field is preferred.
• State Nuclear Medicine License is required.
• Venipuncture certification is required.
• Venipuncture IV certification is required.
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously for imaging or treatment.
• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
• Documents radioactive materials and surveys per department procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
