The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals following professional protocols.

Reporting to the Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor, you will contribute to high-quality diagnostic images that inform patient treatment plans. Connecticut locations across the state offer opportunities and a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Board-certified or eligible (CNMT/NMTCB/ARRT) enabling operation of a hybrid system.
  • 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
  • Provide physician diagnostic images to help identify and plan patient treatment.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist operates nuclear detection and imaging equipment and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Radiologic studies by following professional and departmental protocols to provide the physician diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment for the patient's condition. Reports to: Clinical Nuclear Medical Supervisor.

Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited program for Nuclear Medicine program
  • Has done all clinical competency’s, classroom training and passed a certification board (CNMT (NMTCB)(CT), R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT)) allowing you to operate a hybrid nuclear medicine system.
  • 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience preferred.
