Job summary

South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine procedures, handle radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure safe operations in a high-quality imaging environment in San Antonio, TX.

Applicants must be ARRT(N) or NMTCB registered (or registry-eligible with a temporary MRT in Texas) and obtain permanent certification within one year. Strong attention to radiation safety and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or registry-eligible by ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
• If registry eligible, must hold temporary MRT certification and obtain permanent MRT within 1 year.
• Education: High School/GED and graduation from an accredited program (JRCNMT preferred).
• Must maintain ongoing training and competencies as defined by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and evaluate image quality.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Follow Radiation Control requirements and license conditions.
• Conduct radiation surveys and quality control procedures as required.
• Maintain all required records and use RIS for scheduling, charges, and reporting.
