Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Completion of an accredited NM Technology program.
  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required.
  • Current state license (if applicable).
  • 1–2 years of NM imaging experience preferred.
  • Strong radiopharmaceutical preparation knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient-centered, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
  • Operate gamma cameras, PET, and other NM imaging equipment.
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
  • Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy.
  • Collaborate with physicians for accurate diagnoses and treatment.
  • Maintain patient records and imaging results.
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure regulatory compliance.
