Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, using diverse cameras and radiopharmaceuticals.

The role requires NMTCB or NMT certification, a Texas MRT license, and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification. BLS certification is also required; cross-training supervision may apply. You will join a premier health system with advanced care facilities.

Qualifications

• NMTCB certification or NMTEC/ NMT licensure.
• Texas MRT license required.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures under physician guidance.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with a high degree of judgment.
• Conduct tests on in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure radiation safety.

MRT Texas

ARRT(NM) Certification
