Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification and CNMT license by the state of Florida.
• BLS/ACLS certified.
• 3+ years of experience as a CNMT.
• Maintains CEU’s and recertification as required by Florida CNMT.

Responsibilities

• Uses patient-centered approach in imaging procedures.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and ensures image quality.
• Reports scan results and reviews patient history and orders.
• Educates patients about procedures and equipment.
• Manages radiopharmaceuticals per protocol and regulations.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Maintains imaging equipment and performs safety/QA tasks.

Education

Associate’s degree in nuclear medicine technology

CNMT certification and Florida CNMT license

BLS/ACLS certification

3+ years of CNMT experience

CEUs and recertification maintenance
