Job summary

Inova Kenmore Ave is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time day shift (Tue, Thu, Fri 6:30 AM–3:00 PM). The role supports additional locations as needed for leave coverage, within a safety-focused hospital environment in Northern Virginia.

The position emphasizes patient care, teamwork and adherence to Nuclear Medicine standards. Certification, licensure, and BLS are required on start for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field is required.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification within 12 months of hire.
• AHA BLS certification is required on start date.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare as a nuclear medicine technologist or student.

Responsibilities

• Administers nuclear medicine procedures following policy and safety standards.
• Supports physicians and students; serves as a resource to the nuclear medicine team.
• Performs exams using standard protocols, isolation precautions and sterile technique.
• Identifies patients/files accurately using EMR and PACS systems.
• Recognizes clinical issues and acts to resolve them to obtain optimal outcomes.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
