Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform comprehensive in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and mobile outreach patients. This role supports diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine scans.

Qualifications

• CNMT, NMTCB certification required at hire.
• CDL Class B license required within 180 days.
• Nuclear Medicine Permit required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment.
• Calculates and administers diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals to patients and maintains records.
• Operates nuclear medicine equipment and related computer data systems.
• Assists in radionuclide procedures and monitoring for these procedures.
• Assists with brachytherapy implant procedures and related inventory and monitoring.
