Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform procedures in accordance with approved techniques and NRC/ACR standards. The role requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and NJDEP licensure; CPR certification is preferred.

You will uphold Virtua values and policies while delivering high-quality care. This is a part-time, on-site position at Voorhees with 21.5 total weekly hours and the first shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
• Current NJ Department of Environmental Protection license in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine studies according to radiologist-established protocols and may adjust protocols to achieve results.
• Demonstrates competence in venipuncture and radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Performs routine calibration and quality control tests on equipment.
• Observes safety precautions and utilizes protective devices to minimize radiation exposure.
• Utilizes RIS, PACS, and hospital computer systems while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Covers shifts on a rotational basis and responds promptly when on call.
