Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Nuclear Medicine department at Baptist Beaches, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track radiation within the patient’s body. Duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for scans, and processing image reports indicating the presence of disease. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures.
• Knowledge of Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
• Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
• Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
