Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuclear Med Tech)

Start Date: 5/5/2025 | Available Shifts: 8 D | Pay Rate: $2220.34 - $2432.92

Job Details

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Med Tech ASAP. The role involves common imaging/studies such as stress testing with high emphasis on cardiac nuclear stress, Lexi scans, MPI experience, HIDA, bone, gastric emptying, lung, and renal scans. Must have an active VA State license at the time of submission. The imaging team wears black scrubs. The department has 4 cameras and uses GE and Siemens equipment. The department utilizes PACS: Visage.

Responsibilities

1. Perform stress testing, especially cardiac nuclear stress tests.
2. Conduct various nuclear medicine scans including Lexi scans, MPI, HIDA, bone, gastric emptying, lung, and renal scans.
3. Start IVs as required.
4. Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
5. Ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Active VA State License.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience; hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to start IVs.
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment.
• Certification in BLS (AHA).
• SSN and DOB required.
• No more than 30 days gap in work history within the past year.
• One professional reference required.
