Nuclear Medicine Technologist -Newport Beach, CA,

Job type -Full time / part time

Shift - Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Pay Range: $50.09 to $77.03 per hour ( Based on experience)

Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available

Job Description

Are you a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) ready to enhance diagnostic care? Our clinic is looking for a passionate professional to join our team and utilize advanced imaging techniques in a collaborative healthcare setting

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals (e.g., PET/CT, cardiac, bone scans)
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment; ensure image quality and equipment safety
• Prepare imaging results for physician interpretation
• Educate patients on procedures and required prep steps
• Adhere to safety protocols, aseptic techniques, and radiation regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor, document, and track patient progress; update treatment records
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
• Active CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification
• California RHB Nuclear Medicine license (or hold license in state of practice)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
