Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, CO, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients from adolescent to geriatric.

Under supervision of the Imaging Director, you will handle calibrations, quality control, and maintain accurate records. You will contribute to supply/inventory management, participate in quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with a Radioactive Materials License.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N). Must maintain current registry. Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program. Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • Prefer 3-6 years recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography

Responsibilities

  • Performs simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric.
  • Performs all calibrations and quality control on equipment and maintains accurate records.
  • Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provides quality diagnostic results.
  • Responsible for supply/inventory management. Quality Improvement activities, and the maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License.
