Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at University Health KC and contribute to advancing patient care through cutting-edge imaging technology.

Job Details
  • Location: 101 Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri
  • Department: Medical Imaging UHTMC
  • Position: Full-time, 40 hours/week, varied shifts
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and non-imaging procedures with accuracy and care.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and reagents safely.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate patient diagnosis.
  • Participate in quality improvement and control programs.
  • Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program.
  • Registered with ARRT and/or NMTCB; if eligible, successful completion of the first available examination.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain current CPR certification.
  • Understanding of human development and patient-centered care.
