Job summary

Radiology Forward in New York, NY is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging, ensure correct radionuclide dosing, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout exams. Certification and state licensing are required, with emphasis on collaboration within a cross-functional radiology team.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification is required.
• State Nuclear Medicine License is required.
• Experience in a high-volume setting is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images with excellent patient care.
• Ensures correct dose of radionuclides for each patient.
• Starts IV lines or performs venipuncture for isotope injection.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively.
• Explains procedures and safety precautions to patients.

Education

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification

State Nuclear Medicine License

BLS certification

High school diploma or GED
