Job summary

Prisma Health in Richland is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical procedures with independence and adherence to ALARA.

Responsibilities include patient prep, radiation safety, dose preparation, image acquisition, and quality control. Requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry, completion of accredited nuclear medicine program, and 1 year of nuclear medicine experience. Day shift at Richland Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nuclear medicine technology school.
• One year nuclear medicine experience; strong physics/chemistry background.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry.
• CPR and ARRT(N) registered and/or NMTCB registered.
• SCRQSA certification (SC).
• ARRT in Radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures per protocol.
• Maintain ALARA and radiation safety practices.
• Ensure patient identification, proper dose preparation, and operation of imaging equipment.
• Document doses and maintain records.
