Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to apply nuclear medicine imaging using radiopharmaceuticals and dedicated equipment. You will oversee safe handling, preparation, and documentation of radioactive materials, schedule exams, review images for diagnostic quality, and manage IV access plus medication administration as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

The role requires ARRT NMTCB certification (or NMTCB), BLS, and preferred ARRT-accredited training.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and registration or NMTCB certification (required).
• State licensure preferred where the job is performed.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees procurement, preparation, quality control, calculation, documentation and safe handling of radioactive materials.
• Schedules exams and reviews images to determine diagnostic quality.
• Starts and maintains IV access and administers medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
