Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, providing quality images for interpretation. The ideal candidate will have completed a relevant program and obtained necessary certifications within six months of hire. Responsibilities include operating cameras, ensuring image quality, and following safety procedures. Work shift is during the day, and the position offers a PRN worker type with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nuclear Medicine program as well as the ARRT-N and CNMT credential within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT-N certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate cameras to create diagnostic images.
• Position patients and select technical factors accurately.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Submit high-quality images to PACS promptly.
