Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging department at Baptist South. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with an experienced imaging team while delivering high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, performing diagnostic procedures, and documenting medications and images in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Performs high quality diagnostic procedures
• Knowledge of Florida Radiation/Radioactive Materials regulations
• Protects patients and staff from radiation exposure
• Identifies, prepares, administers and documents medications per physician orders and regulations
• Experience with radioactive materials preferred
• Experience in hospital setting preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic procedures
• Protects patients, self, others from radiation exposure
• Prepares patients for scans and administers medications as prescribed
• Documents medications and image reports in line with regulations
• Maintains compliance with education and health requirements
