Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and radiation safety. You will communicate with patients and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to provide optimal care.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts with no call and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and completed clinical hours.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) OR Registry eligible; registry within 2 months of eligibility.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiation safety and standard imaging quality.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address concerns; collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff.
