Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Licensed in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the MA DPH Radiation Control Program.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB(CNMT) certification required.
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Experience with PACS, dose management software and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and review procedure orders.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and CT contrast per protocol.
• Maintain image quality; document in EMR and PACS.
• Follow infection control guidelines and patient safety procedures.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Coordinate with staff to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Perform quality control and report equipment issues.
