Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiotracers, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensure QA and patient safety within our radiology services.

The position requires a nuclear medicine diploma/certificate, with a preferred Bachelor's degree, appropriate state licenses, and venipuncture certification where applicable. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radioisotope equipment.
• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys per department procedures.
• Obtains pertinent patient information and disseminates preparation instructions to care areas.
