Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist 2 PRN Premium for the Lake Main Campus. Responsibilities include preparing patients and NM images, ensuring safety, and providing comprehensive pre/post education.

The role requires two years of NM experience, graduation from an accredited NM program, and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification with BLS. Candidates should be able to work under general supervision, occasionally serve as a preceptor, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NM images for interpretation and ensure quality control.
• Explain procedures to patients to facilitate cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Maintain radiation safety and use protective equipment as required.
• Document patient history, procedure details and technician initials.
• Assist in department quality improvement and support on-call coverage.
