Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake, part of FMOL Health, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech II to prepare patients, acquire NM images, and ensure safety using radiopharmaceuticals. Responsible for pre/post education, supervising others as needed, and reporting to the Radiology Department.

Two years of Nuclear Medicine experience and ARRT(N) or CNMT licensure are required, with BLS-HCP. The role supports a busy radiology service in Baton Rouge, with emphasis on quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Computer skills and supervisory skills.
• Licensure: ARRT(N) or CNMT; BLS-HCP.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment and procedures.
• Refers to physician orders and corroborates clinical history.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains safety precautions.
• Organizes daily workload to complete exams on time and coordinates with other areas.
• Maintains department QA and participates in safety and compliance tasks.
