Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience performing Nuclear Medicine scans in a clinical setting.
• Licenses/certifications: CNMT or RT(N) and MR/CT certifications; CA Nuclear Medicine license.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine/therapy, PET, and CT exams on gamma, hybrid, and portable scanners using approved procedures.
• Receive and transcribe verbal orders from licensed practitioners.
• Review images for accuracy and document in EMR systems.
• Maintain room inventory and crash cart; prepare supplies for procedures.
• Provide patient education and assist with procedures while following sterile techniques.
