Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiopharmaceutical preparation.
• Knowledge of NRC, state, and federal regulations for nuclear medicine and radiation protection.
• Ability to recognize abnormal scan results and identify technical errors to improve imaging accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies following protocols and physician orders.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or orally with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Operates, calibrates, and quality-controls imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images.
