Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I in Wilmington, NC to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prepare patients, and operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain accurate scans.

The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine program required.
• Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB (RT(N) or CNMT) required.
• IV credentialed and state licensed (as applicable) required.
• One year of nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures and imaging.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic scans.
