Location:Hickman HospitalDepartment:Nuclear MedicineWeekly Hours:0Status:Per DiemShift:Days (United States of America)Job Summary:As a Nuclear Med Tech, you will perform diagnostic imaging, in vitro and in vitro testing radiotherapy, and radiation safety by using radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclides.In this role, you will work to limit radiation exposure to the patient, public, your co-workers and yourself while performing procedures according to physicians’ orders. You will also administer radiopharmaceuticals.You will participate in research activities and train assigned students in this position. You must also meet continuing education requirements to maintain your nuclear medicine registry/license.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
