Job summary

Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA is seeking a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging team on a PRN, varied shift. This role supports our growing cancer care program and uses your Nuclear Medicine expertise to deliver high-quality patient imaging and safety.

You’ll work closely with physicians, maintain PACS/Meditech workflows, and provide compassionate care across the lifespan in a supportive, community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and Nuclear Medicine education/certificate completed.
• Relevant Nuclear Medicine certification or credential.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 6 months radiology experience or accredited school experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process Nuclear Medicine exams with quality imaging.
• Care for patients throughout their imaging experience.
• Gather patient histories and communicate with physicians/radiologists.
• Follow Nuclear Medicine safety and regulatory requirements.
• Apply ALARA principles to radiation safety.
• Manage patient records via PACS and Meditech.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and a safe clinical environment.
• Provide compassionate care to patients across the lifespan.
